$3,500 in damage caused in north Lincoln burglary, Lincoln Police say

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – The Lincoln Police Department is investigating a burglary at a north Lincoln auto shop.

Around 8 a.m. Friday, officers were called to George’s Auto near 14th Street and Cornhusker Highway for two men throwing bricks through an office window.

The men took an estimated 30 sets of keys that had been hanging on an office wall, according to the police department.

LPD said the total damage and loss are estimated at $3,500.
