$35,000 worth of model trains stolen from garage, Lincoln Police say

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Model trains worth around $35,000 were stolen from a garage at an apartment complex near 63rd and X Streets, Lincoln Police say.

Around 10:48 a.m. on Friday, the victim reported that his model trains had been stolen.

The 63-year-old told police that the trains were taken from his detached garage sometime within the last week.

There were no signs of forced entry, police say.

An investigation is currently ongoing and anyone with information is asked to call Lincoln Police at 402-441-6000.
