LPD: Three suspects rob residence at knifepoint, victim cut

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — A home with two children inside was robbed at knifepoint by three men, reports Lincoln Police.
The incident took place on Monday around 11:30 a.m. near the block of North 26th Street.
A Lincoln Police officer was in the area and reported seeing two to three people running from a residence.
According to police, one of the individuals was a 31-year-old man who claimed he was robbed.
The victim said he was inside his home with another adult and a 15 and 17-year-old. when someone knocked on the door.
Upon answering, three people came inside, armed with knives, demanding money.
One of the men allegedly kicked open a bedroom door where the second adult, a 26-year-old man, was. The intruder entered swinging a knife and cut his hand, according to the victim.
An undisclosed amount of cash and a phone were taken from the residence before all three suspects fled.
Lincoln Police say they found the stolen cell phone along the path the three suspects had been seen running.
All injuries reportedly sustained by the victims were minor.
