LSO: Early morning fire causes $200K in damage

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — Early Tuesday morning, a garage fire caused about $200,000 in damage in southwest Lincoln.

The Lancaster County Sheriff’s Office (LSO) responded to the fire at 4110 W Bucks Dr. around 12:30 a.m.

Property Dane and Susan Pollson woke to find their 72 x 24 building, which houses four vintage cars, on fire.

Worth $150,000, the four cars- a 1948 Ford FS, a 1950 Ford Custom, a 1968 Chevy C10, and a 1939 Studebaker- were all damaged.

Deputies say the building, located next to the main home, was fully engulfed in flames.

In total, around $200,000 in damages were reported.

The State Fire Marshall says it was an accidental fire, but no official cause has been reported.
