44-year-old man killed after being hit by car in north Lincoln, police say

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) —A man was killed early Saturday morning after police say he was hit by a car in north Lincoln.

Just after 12:30 a.m., the Lincoln Police Department and Lincoln Fire & Rescue were sent to the area of 27th and Theresa streets.

Investigators said the man was hit by a car in the parking lot of a nearby business.

The 44-year-old man was found dead at the scene.

According to the police department, they found the vehicle at an undisclosed location with a driver inside, but no arrests have been made at this time.

Police said the identity of the victim is not being released pending next of kin notification.
