4-year-old wanders from Prairie Hill Learning Center, found near Hwy 77
The 4-year-old reportedly wandered away from the Prairie Hill Learning Center last Thursday. He was found about 3 miles away, unharmed, near highway 77 and Bennett road.
The learning center is south of there near Hickman road.
A FedEx driver found him and returned him to the learning center.
Channel 8 Eyewitness news spoke with the 4-year-old’s father. He says they’re devastated this happened and are working on making sure this doesn’t happen to another child.
The learning center declined to comment to Channel 8 News or to say, how they lost track of the boy.
We talked to the Lancaster county sheriff who had investigated the case, but it has since been turned over to county and state officials to decide if further action is necessary.
