5 arrested in Lincoln drug bust

Authorities took five people into custody after serving a search warrant on a northwest Lincoln home. 

On Tuesday, the Lincoln Lancaster County Task Force served the warrant at the home near 2nd and Dawes Avenue, and found 5.7 grams of meth, 2 codeine tablets, 5.9 grams of suspected psilocybin mushrooms, $345 cash as well as numerous baggies containing suspected methamphetamine residue, scales, and other drug paraphernalia, Lincoln Police said. 

The following people were arrested on drug charges: 

Gerald T. Thomas, 52

James L. Anderson, 63 

Kassandra M. Abel, 23 

Cassandra J. Gomez, 28 

Gustavo Cerrato, 27
