5-year-old girl falls from window in northeast Lincoln

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — A young girl was injured Wednesday night when she fell out a window in northeast Lincoln, police say.

Just before 9 p.m., first responders were sent to the area of 56th and Holdrege streets.

Police said a 5-year-old girl pushed out a window screen and fell from a third-story window.

When officers and paramedics arrived, she was conscious and moving.

Lincoln Fire & Rescue took her to a hospital with injuries that were not life-threatening.
