Lincoln man arrested for assaulting, strangling and hogtying woman
On July 4th, shortly after 6:30 pm, officers responded to 1637 D street after several witnesses reported a man was assaulting a woman in the apartment hallway.
Officers arrived and found a 25 year-old woman with her hands bound behind her back and injuries to her face.
"Spencer drug her by her hair to the north stair well and up to the third floor when bound her hand back. She said Spencer then drug her back down the stair and puncher in the face several times," said Officer Angela Sands with the Lincoln Police Department.
The victim had injuries to her face and body, and she was transported to the hospital by Lincoln Fire and Rescue. 52 year old Bruce Spencer was arrested for strangulation and 1st degree false imprisonment.
