572 grams of meth found in Lincoln home; two people arrested

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — Two people were arrested Friday after a search of a north Lincoln home yielded 572 grams of methamphetamine and 380 grams of marijuana, police say.
Officers say that when they were executing a search warrant near St. Paul Avenue and 46th Street about 5 p.m., they found Andrew Lawrence, 40, destroying evidence.
Police also found almost $18,000 in cash.
Lawrence was arrested on suspicion of possession more than 140 grams of meth with intent to deliver, possession of money while violating a state statute and tampering with evidence.
Tiffany Trull, 35, was a visitor at the home and was arrested on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance.
