Weather weather continues
March continues on producing more rain for southeast Nebraska. Monday marks the 5th day this month producing measurable precipitation. Not including Monday, this month has already had 3.99″ of precipitation fall in Lincoln. That puts the month 2.75″ of precipitation above normal, which is the most to date in 34 years!
Rain will continue on Monday night, through the day Tuesday, and then quickly move out early Wednesday morning. The heaviest rain Tuesday looks to fall before noon. Computer models are suggesting rain could become more scattered during the afternoon and evening.
An additional 1″ to 2.50″ of rain looks to fall across the Channel 8 viewing area. Specifically in Lincoln, a three computer model average suggests an additional 1.24″ of rain.
TONIGHT: Overcast skies and rain. Temperatures will hold steady, if not slightly rise, in the middle to upper 40°s.
TUESDAY: Overcast, breezy with rain. Highs will be in the middle 40°s to middle 50°s. Winds will be out of the east and north, gusting to 25 to 40 mph.
WEDNESDAY: Rain ends early. Breezy early. Partly sunny skies with highs in the upper 40°s to lower 50°s.
