73-year-old man killed in north Lincoln rollover crash is identified

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – The Lincoln Police Department has identified the man killed in a rollover crash in north Lincoln on Sunday.

An SUV, driven by 73-year-old Timothy Gill, left the road near Interstate 180 and Superior Streets around 2 p.m.

The vehicle then crashed into a fence and two trees, causing it to roll “multiple times,” police said.

Gill was pronounced dead at the scene.  Police suspect a medical emergency caused the crash.

Police closed the northbound lanes of I-180 at the Cornhusker Highway exit as they investigated the crash.
