76-year-old dies after e-bike crash in Lexington

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — A man was killed Sunday in an e-bike crash in west-central Nebraska.

The crash happened about 8:20 a.m. on Plum Creek Parkway in Lexington, according to police.

Lexington Police Department investigators determined that 76-year-old K.C. Chrisman hit a concrete median on his bicycle, causing it to flip.

He suffered severe head injuries and was taken to Lexington Regional Hospital, then flown to a Kearney hospital.

Chrisman later died from his injuries.

Police said the investigation is ongoing.
