76-year-old man killed in rollover crash on rural northeast Nebraska highway

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – A Schuyler man was killed Wednesday in a rollover crash on a rural eastern Nebraska highway.

The crash happened around 1:30 p.m. on Highway 105, about 5 miles west of Cedar Bluffs.

The Saunders County Sheriff’s Office said a Mack truck was heading east when it left the road, overcorrected and flipped into the opposite ditch.

The driver – 76-year-old Jim Horn – was taken to a hospital in Fremont.

He was then flown to an Omaha hospital, where he was pronounced deceased.
