$8,000 in tools stolen from work trucks parked at two southeast Lincoln hotels

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Three work trucks were broken into over the weekend in southeast Lincoln, police say.

The thefts were reported Sunday at the Holiday Inn Express and AmericInn near 91st Street and Nebraska Parkway.

Police think the vehicles were broken into sometime overnight.

Two trucks were parked at Holiday Inn and another was at AmericInn.

Police estimate the trucks had about $2,500 in damage.  Around $8,000 worth of tools were also stolen.
