LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — About 83,000 highchairs sold across the U.S. are being recalled after 24 falls were reported.
Toy and nursery company TOMY told the Consumer Product Safety Commission those reports include 11 injuries, such as bruising or scratches.
There’s a problem with bolts used to secure the seats of Boon Flair highchairs manufactured before September 2016, as well as all Boon Flair Elite highchairs.
They can come loose due to the issue, causing the seats to detach.
TOMY says people should stop using the highchairs and contact the company for a free repair kit.
They were sold at Bed Bath & Beyond, Target, Toys ‘R’ Us, Amazon and other retailers.
