LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — A Grand Island man is accused of trying to lure a 13-year-old girl into his pickup truck over the weekend.

Floyd Leiser, 88, was charged Monday with child enticement and stalking.

On Sunday afternoon, court documents say Leiser tried to get the girl away from her mother at the splash pad at Pier Park.

He motioned for her to get inside his vehicle, an arrest affidavit says.

And police said this is not the first time Leiser has approached the girl.

There were two other incidents in the last two months when he used hand motions asking her to come to him, the affidavit says.

Leiser’s bond was set at $25,000. He would need to pay $2,500 to be released from the Hall County Jail.

His next court hearing is scheduled for Aug. 6.
