94 DUI arrests made in three weeks by Nebraska State Troopers

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — Nebraska’s latest Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over campaign ended with 94 DUI arrests in three weeks.
This all began back on August 16 and went through Labor Day. The Nebraska State Patrol says troopers also issued 1,580 citations for speeding during this stretch.
That includes 70 citations for speeding at or above 100 miles per hour.
According to NSP, this marks the end of the summer travel season, which began on Memorial Day weekend.
There were a total of 393 DUI arrests during this period, and 357 drivers were cited for speeding at or above 100 miles per hour.
NSP Colonel John Bolduc said, “With summer vacations in the rear view, now is the time to stay alert for changing weather conditions and keep an eye out for farm machinery moving from field to field. When you’re driving, keep your focus on the road and help keep Nebraska roads safe.”
