There’s a new addition to the "N" street bike path.
The Downtown Lincoln Association added two bike repair stations.
They’re stocked with wrenches, screwdrivers, a tire pump and other tools, in case you break down. The services are free. Bicyclists say they’re grateful for the added convenience.
“I’ve got a bike pump by the bike but I often times don’t think about it until I get on the trail and then the tires are squishy and I think ‘oh I should have put a few pounds of air in here’ and it’s literally three blocks from where I started biking so I think it’s a great location here on the N street bike way,” Steve Henry, a cyclist, said.
The two locations are at 11th and 14th and N.
The repair stops are open, no word on if any more along the route are planned.
