Good Life Fitness to open new location

The owners of a popular local fitness center are increasing their weight here in Lincoln. Steve Auxier and his brother, Jason, owners of Good Life Fitness, announced Good Life Fitness 2 to open on 84th and Highway 2 in summer or fall of 2016.
"It is a dream come true," said Steve Auxier. "My brother Jason and our partner David Fiala, its been a wonderful partnership to come together with a vision and a goal just to help so many people within Lincoln and surrounding communities."
The duo’s gym is celebrating just its sixth year in Lincoln. It’s already been named the best gym in Nebraska and one of the top 50 in America by Men’s Health Magazine, largely in part to their "N-10-sive" boot camps.
Good life is upping the reps for number two, with a 20,000-foot weight room, a separate spin classroom and yoga studio, a larger womens-only weight room and child care facility, and a whopping five acres of outdoor fitness space.
It’s highly anticipated by the gym’s nearly 1,000 members.
"It seems like it’s been a long time coming," said gym member Caitlin Englebrecht. "We’ve been asking for it and I’ve been telling everyone I come into contact with ‘go to Good Life Fitness’ and they’re like, ‘but its so far away.’ Now nobody has an excuse, so I think everyone is super super super excited."
"We love watching people succeed and its been such an amazing journey to help so many people reach long term fitness success one meal, one workout one day at a time," said Steve Auxier.
