Man drives car into mailbox, light pole and tree

A man is facing drunken driving charges after police say he drove his car into a tree in a Lincoln neighborhood. Police say the driver hit a mailbox, then crashed into a light pole and came to a stop after hitting a tree.
It happened near South Street and Devonshire Drive at around noon Tuesday. Crews had to break in the car door to remove the driver. The man was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
