Two men arrested for robbery

Police arrested two men accused of robbing a home on New Year's.

31–year–old Bryan Rand and 48–year–old Johnny Beckett are behind bars. Police say they forced their way into an apartment building near 16th and F streets and robbed the tenants at gunpoint earlier this week.

Police say only a wallet was reported stolen.

Officers tracked the suspects down to their own apartment near 9th and Washington and arrested them this morning. A small amount of meth was also found in the residence, so Rand and Beckett are also facing possession of a controlled substance.
