Long-time car dealership to close

Russwood Auto at 84th and O announced it's calling it quits.

Nearly 40 employees will lose their jobs.  Russwood has been around in Lincoln for 25 years. A spokeswoman said they want to thank all of their staff and customers. They'll be selling off the rest of their cars till the end of the month. Anything remaining after that, will go to auction.

The Russwood Service Center will remain open until February 6.  No word on why the dealership is closing.  However, in 2009, Russwood became a used car dealership after losing its Chrysler franchise.
