A live-in boyfriend is arrested after police say he beat his girlfriend with a belt, and threatened to kill her. Police went to investigate a violent domestic abuse case around 1:30 Tuesday morning at a Lincoln hospital. They say Robert Clayborne hit his 32-year-old girlfriend with a belt several times and then stabbed the bed she was laying in with a butcher knife.
Police say Clayborne also threatened the woman's life describing how he would kill her. His victim escaped the home and went to a nearby hospital. Clayborne was arrested for second degree assault, terroristic threats and use of a deadly weapon.
