Terry Stiles enters plea in court
A former Beatrice and Gage County law enforcement officer accused of sexually assaulting two girls appeared in district court.
Terry Stiles pled not guilty to two counts of sexual assault of a child. He faces up to 10 years in prison if convicted.
Court documents say Stiles made the two girls, ages 8 and 11, touch him inappropriately. The contact is alleged to have occurred from May through July 2009 at a home in Filley.
Stiles has worked as a Beatrice police officer, a Gage County Sheriff's investigator and at the Tecumseh State Correctional Institution. His next court appearance is scheduled for June 7th.
