Lincoln Police bust large marijuana operation

Lincoln Police say they've found three of the largest marijuana growing operations they've ever seen, in separate homes all around the city.
The Lincoln Lancaster County Drug Task Force executed a warrant at one Lincoln home on Friday and that led them to two more, netting more than 1,000 marijuana plants. Lincoln Police Chief Tom Casady says five people were arrested. Three of the them are from Lincoln, two are from Canada.
Police say investigators conducted searches at three homes: 5210 N. 11th St., 3260 Dudley St. and 2620 Norman Circle.
The three Lincoln men arrested are Kevin Bellow and Aaron Polk, both 32, along with 31-year-old Chien Nguyen. Cuong Ngo and Bans Troung were also arrested. They are from Canada. Police say the investigation continues and more arrests are expected.
