| Lincoln Radiology Group, P.C. (LRG) is a 13-member radiology practice providing outstanding diagnostic imaging, invasive vascular, interventional, and neuro-interventional services in Lincoln and southeast Nebraska. LRG physicians are board-certified diagnostic radiologists with subspecialty expertise in neuro-radiology, interventional radiology, pediatric radiology, nuclear medicine, and breast imaging. A complete range of radiology services is available at six convenient locations in Lincoln, NE. DONALD H. BREIT, M.D.  Dr. Breit is a graduate of the University of South Dakota School of Medicine where he was a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha honor society and the recipient of several scholarships and memorial awards. He has received his Radiology Residency training at University of Missouri Hospital & Clinics. Dr. Breit is Board Certified by the American Board of Radiology, and his areas of special expertise include mammography, MRI, CT, ultrasound and general diagnostic radiology. He joined Lincoln Radiology Group as a Diagnostic Radiologist in 1996. |
KIM L. COLEMAN, M.D.  Fellowship trained in Pediatric Radiology, Dr. Coleman is a graduate of Wake Forest Medical Center Baptist University in Winston-Salem, NC. Dr. Coleman received her Radiology Residency training at University of Nebraska Medical Center. She stays active in the community by giving educational talks on Pediatric Radiology. She is Board Certified by the American Board of Radiology, and CAQ in Pediatric Radiology. To obtain this certification, one must complete a fellowship in Pediatric Radiology and pass an oral exam. Her areas of special expertise include Pediatric Radiology, CT, MRI, CT virtual colonography, mammography and ultrasound. She joined Lincoln Radiology Group as a Diagnostic Radiologist in 2000. |
DAVID J. HILGER, M.D.  Dr. Hilger attended medical school at University of Nebraska College of Medicine, where he also completed his Radiology Residency. He is active on committees at BryanLGH Medical Center, currently serving as Medical Director of Mammography. He has served as President of Lincoln Radiology Group and a President of the Nebraska Radiological Society. He has received the AMA Physicians Recognition award various times and has recently been awarded to be a Fellow of the American Board of Radiology. Dr. Hilger is Board Certified by the American Board of Radiology and his areas of special expertise include mammography, CT virtual colonography, MRI, CT and ultrasound. He joined Lincoln Radiology Group as a Diagnostic Radiologist in 1988. |
MARC G. KOENIG, M.D.  An Alpha Omega Alpha graduate and a Regent Scholar of the University of Nebraska College of Medicine. Dr. Koenig received his Radiology Residency training at Mallinckrodt Institute of Radiology in St. Louis, MO. He now serves as President of Lincoln Radiology Group. He is Board Certified by the American Board of Radiology and his areas of special expertise include CT, MRI, bone densitometry, mammography and ultrasound. He joined Lincoln Radiology Group as a Diagnostic Radiologist in 1995. |
JANET C. MATTHES, M.D.  Dr. Matthes is a graduate of the University of Nebraska College of Medicine. Following graduation she completed a Radiology Residency and Magnetic Resonance Imaging Fellowship at University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio, TX. She is Board Certified by the American Board of Radiology, and her areas of special expertise include CT, MRI, bone densitometry, mammography and ultrasound. She joined Lincoln Radiology Group as a Diagnostic Radiologist in 1991. |
JEFFREY D. MATTHES, M.D.  A Phi Beta Sigma graduate of the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and University of Nebraska College of Medicine, Dr. Matthes received his Diagnostic Radiologic Residency training and served as Chief Resident at University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio, TX. He has served as President of Lincoln Radiology Group. Dr. Matthes is Board Certified by the American Board of Radiology, and his areas of special expertise include Radionuclide Imaging, NeuroPsychiatric Imaging, MRI, CT, ultrasound, mammography and CT angiography. He joined Lincoln Radiology Group as a Diagnostic Radiologist in 1992. |
ERIC M. WILLIAMS, M.D.  Dr. Williams is a graduate of the University of Nebraska College of Medicine. Following graduation he received his Radiology Residency training and served as Chief Resident at St. Elizabeth Hospital Medical Center through Northeast Ohio Universities College of Medicine in Youngstown, OH. Dr. Williams performed his Cross-Sectional Imaging CT/MRI/US Fellowship at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, MI. He is active on committees at BryanLGH Medical Center, currently serving as a member of Credentials Committee. He is Board Certified by the American Board of Radiology and his areas of special expertise include PET Imaging, CT, MRI, ultrasound, Cross-Sectional Imaging, CT virtual colonography and mammography. He joined Lincoln Radiology Group as a Diagnostic Radiologist in 1989. |
DOUGLAS J. WINJUM, M.D.  Dr. Winjum is a graduate of the Creighton University School of Medicine.
