Columbus Teen Sentenced For Child Abuse
A Columbus teen who told police he threw his girlfriend's 21-month old boy into a wall as bee sentenced to 12 to 16 years in prison for child abuse.
Police say 17-year-old Quincy Justus gave the boy to a skull fracture, broken arm and broken jaw. Justus, who turns 18 later this month, was tried as an adult.
Doctors say that makeup was used to cover up bruising on the boy before he was taken to the emergency room. The boy, now 2, is now living with a foster family in Lincoln.
The boy's mother, 19-year-old Tiffany Nickolite, has also been charged with child abuse in the case. She faces trial on March 31. Nickolite gave birth to another son last week. His father is Justus.
