Krista Chang

Krista is a 2022 graduate of Florida State University, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in both environmental social science and geography. She was active in the FSU weather club and a member of the North Florida Weather Association.

She is pursuing her Certificate in Broadcast and Operational Meteorology through the renowned online program at Mississippi State University.

Krista hails from Basking Ridge, New Jersey, and has been passionate about weather since the age of 6.

Her favorite sports teams include the New England Patriots, New York Rangers, the New York Yankees and the Huskers.

She has three pets: Stormy and Joy, a rescue cat, and Lucky Ranger, a rescue dog from Royse City, Texas.

When not working, Krista enjoys traveling, music, theater, the arts, local restaurants, reading and spending time with her family and friends.
