About our school supply drive
At KLKN, our commitment is to give back to the community. With this school supply drive, we hope to be able to offer children the means to succeed during their education. Partnering with Lincoln Public Schools (LPS) allows us to distribute those means to the local schools and guarantee that each student has the supplies to be successful.
“With nearly half of Lincoln Public Schools students on free or reduced lunch, it is apparent that some families really need this right now,” says Rod Fowler, our evening anchor. “If we can lessen that burden even by a little bit, then we’ve accomplished our goal.”
