Lincoln Public Schools listening to community feedback on 2024-2029 Strategic Plan

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Lincoln Public Schools is looking towards the next five years with the drafting of its 2024-2029 Strategic Plan.

The preliminary proposed strategic plan was prepared using information gathered from the development of the All Means All Action plan.

The district asked Lincolnites to give their input on how they think LPS could improve.

LPS held several community meetings throughout October to hear feedback from the community.

Superintendent Paul Gausman said the survey served as the “community impact” phase of the plan.

He emphasized that the district wanted to hear as many voices as possible to help shape LPS’s future.

“We all recognize we need public schools, but the future students who will come out of the district, college, and civic live is really what’s important to our future,” Gausman said.

Feedback from this survey will be reviewed and implemented in the next phase of planning.
