Millard Public Schools eliminating some language programs

Millard Public Schools have voted to eliminate middle school French and German language classes.
The Millard Public School Board also voted to change middle school schedules.
Next year, there will be seven period everyday, instead of eight.
The board president says the decision were largely based on instructional time and not finances.
School board members say having fewer class periods will give teachers more time to teach core academic subject and hopefully boost student test scores.
