LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Police are searching for two people who assaulted employees and a security guard outside of a Lincoln arcade last month.

On June 15, officers were called to Round1 at Gateway Mall near 66th and O streets on a report of an aggravated assault.

Staff members told officers that a group in the pool room had been asked “numerous” times by employees and security to quiet down.

They eventually left, and a security guard went outside to ensure they were leaving.

The security guard then heard someone say “one three,” and he was suddenly pulled out of his car, according to police.

He reported that two people punched and kicked him “multiple times,” police said.

This is when two other Round1 employees tried helping the victim, and they were also assaulted.

One of the employees was taken to a hospital with multiple cuts to his face, a possible fractured nose, swollen eye socket and two lumps on the back of his head.

Police are also searching for a driver involved in a hit-and-run crash at Russ’s Market near 17th and Washington streets on June 27.

The driver had backed into another vehicle in the parking lot before taking off.

He was driving an older GMC Sierra or a similar work truck, which had a “unique bed rack on the back,” according to police.

Anyone with information on either case is asked to call police at 402-441-6000 or Crime Stoppers at 402-475-3600.
