No. 1 Nebraska volleyball throttles No. 16 Penn State on the road

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Nebraska volleyball dominated Penn State in its Final Four rematch on Friday.
The Huskers swept the Nittany Lions 3-0 while hitting a season high .437 on the match.

NU won set one 25-6. Rebekah Allick delivered the final blow.

The Huskers would go on to win set two 25-15, followed by a set three win 25-13.

The Huskers snapped their two-game losing streak to Penn State, getting a little revenge for their final four loss last season.
Allick led the team in kills with nine. She also had three blocks. Virginia Adriano finished with eight kills.

Bergen Reilly finished the night with 26 assists and eight digs.
The Huskers held the Nittany Lions to a -0.114 hitting percentage. The second-best defensive effort by Nebraska in the rally scoring era (since 2001).
Penn State’s 34 total points scored in the match was its fewest points in a match since 2001.
With the win Nebraska stays perfect on the season now with a 13-0 record.
NU will be back on the road tomorrow when the take on Rutgers at 6:00 p.m.
