Trump says big name oil corporations are making too much money

WASHINGTON, D.C. (KLKN) — According to ABC, President Donald Trump criticized big oil companies, calling out Exxon and Chevron. This comes after both companies made high profits due to the Iran War affecting oil prices.
“They’re making too much money, ” Trump said.
He urged the companies to cut retail fuel prices after accusing them of making the prices due high during wartime.
“Too much money. You’re surprised? I’m saying it. I’ll say it loud and clear,” Trump added.
According to ABC, Chevron reported $12 billion in profits over three months ending in June while Exxon reported profits of $14.5 billion within the same three months.
Chevron profited nearly 400% more than the same period last year.
