USDA invests $75 million into McCook hospital

MCCOOK, Neb. (KLKN) — On Oct. 9, the US Department of Agriculture (USDA) Nebraska State Director Neil Moseman announced a $75 million investment into Community Hospital Association (CHA) in McCook.

The investment comes from a Community Facilities Direct Loan Program.

With the investment, CHA will undergo an expansion project that will add more than 70,000 square feet.

“It is important that rural residents have access to modern healthcare services, and Rural Development is excited to partner with CHA to update its healthcare facility in McCook,” Moseman said.

Along with the extra space, other additions include a cancer center, a new McCook Clinic and improvements to the central utility plant.
