LPD: More than $10,000 in drugs, drug-related items found in teens’ car

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — Three teens were found with over $10,000 worth of marijuana, THC, and drug paraphernalia in Lincoln.
Saturday around 9:30 p.m. officers pulled over a red Toyota Camry near 27th and Superior Streets for expired license plates.
When speaking with the driver, 18-year-old Porter Wilkins, the officer noted a strong odor of marijuana coming from the car. When Wilkins went to exit the vehicle, tow opened bottles of Patron could be seen on the driver’s floor, reports Lincoln Police.
There were two passengers, 18-year-old Noah Reddick, and a 17-year-old. Officers searched the vehicle only to find a scale with residue on it and a container of THC wax.
Two backpacks were found in the backseat with 433 grams of marijuana in heat-sealed bags ($3,800 estimated street value), 81 THC vape pens, seven one-ounce THC wax jars ($7,400 estimated street value), 14 one-ounce THC syrup containers, 66 THC cartridges, a “realistic-looking” Glock BB gun, and multiple items of drug paraphernalia.
All three occupants were arrested on multiple drug charges.
