A Beautiful Fall Day Across Nebraska
A TOP 10 DAY? A cold start this morning across the state. This afternoon, sunny skies will be out all day with much calmer winds! The winds will stay calm through tonight, setting the stage for another cold and frosty start to the day on Thursday.
Temperatures will be a bit warmer, reaching the mid to upper 60s across much of the state, offering a BEAUTIFUL and Fall like afternoon.
Tonight, clear skies and calm winds will make for another BRISK, CHILLY and frosty night across the state.
Thursday morning, expect temperatures in the low to mid 30s under clear skies and calm winds. Another cold start Thursday, but warming up later Thursday afternoon.
Friday, a few rain showers will be possible from I-80 and south. There will be a sharp cutoff on who receives rain Friday. Timing wise looks to be Friday afternoon and evening.
The Huskers football game on Saturday looks to be dry, cloudy and chilly. Temperatures in the upper 50s with cloudy skies and light winds.
A TOP 10 DAY Wednesday? A cold start this morning across the state. This afternoon, sunny skies will be out all day with much calmer winds! The winds will stay calm through tonight, setting the stage for another cold and frosty start to the day on Thursday. Overnight lows will dip into the low to mid 30s, with daytime highs reaching the low to mid 60s. A few light rain showers may develop Friday, particularly in areas near the Nebraska–Kansas border. However, the best chance for more widespread rain and storms arrives Sunday night into Monday night, as a more organized weather system moves through the region. This system will usher in even cooler air, with highs dropping into the 50s late next week. Halloween is looking to be a bit chilly with temperatures in the 50s.
