A chilly and cool start to the week

Here’s what we are watching this week:

  • Scattered storms and showers overnight tonight in SW Nebraska along and south of I-80 including McCook. Heavy rainfall will be the main concerns.
  • Monday morning: Temperatures will feel a bit chilly in the upper 40s and lower 50s in eastern Nebraska. This will be our coolest morning for the week.
  • Monday afternoon-Tuesday morning: Scattered rain showers will develop across north central Nebraska Monday morning and linger through Tuesday morning. Some rain might not make it to the ground due to lots of DRY air.
  • Temperatures will remain in the upper 70s and lower 80s all through this week!

Overnight tonight, storms will move through far SW Nebraska with heavy rainfall being the main concerns. Monday morning and afternoon, some rain showers will try and develop in parts of north central Nebraska and linger through Tuesday morning. There is quite a bit of dry air out there, meaning some showers might not make it all the way to the ground (Virga).

Monday morning, a light jacket might be handy! Temperatures will be chilly in the upper 40s and lower 50s.

Monday afternoon, high temperatures only reaching the low to mid 70s for most of us. This will be our coolest day this week!

A below average and fall like 10 day ahead. Through this week, temperatures staying beautiful in the upper 70s and lower 80s. Our main storm  and rain chances look to arrive late Friday and continue through the weekend.
