A chilly and sunny Thanksgiving
Temperatures dipping below freezing early tonight and in the lower 20s by tomorrow morning.
With the winds out of the north west at 5-15 mph, the feel like temperatures will be in the mid to upper teens throughout tonight into tomorrow.
Tonight, temperatures in the upper teens in western Nebraska and lower 20s in eastern Nebraska.
Thanksgiving, temperatures in the upper 30s and lower 40s. The sunshine will be out to possibly make it feel a little warmer.
Thursday, temperatures in the upper 30s and lower 40s for all of us with lots of sunshine and calm winds.
Looking ahead to Friday night into Saturday, there’s still a signal for some snow possible for central and eastern Nebraska from a disturbance sliding south into our area.
I haven’t been convinced that we’ll see much from this, but many could see their first flakes of the season. The most recent model runs only hint at up to a half inch in Lincoln, if not less. Dry air may even cut into this potential even more.
Thanksgiving looks to be pretty nice with temperatures in the upper 30s and lower 40s with some sunshine. Friday night into Saturday morning, some snow flurries are possible from Lincoln down to the Kansas border, still too early to tell though. Temperatures start to warm up next Tuesday.
