A cool start for April then a warming trend.
With mainly cloudy skies temperatures will be warmer overnight than last night.
The first day of April brings us cloudy, cool and windy conditions with a chance of showers afternoon and evening.
Winds in the afternoon Monday will gust near 30 MPH.
A run of cool temperatures remain until at least Wednesday followed by highs in the 60’s and 70’s.
The main threat for severe weather tonight is further east into portions of Iowa. We might see some isolated thunderstorms overnight as an area of low pressure tracks to our south and east. It will take a few days before we finally climb above 60 with some very nice weather forecasted. Although cooler air arrives by next weekend the rain chances are always welcome.
