A cooler Monday – Rain chances tonight
A cooler start to the week! Highs will stay in the upper 60s today and Tuesday, with some clouds and light rain on Tuesday. By Wednesday, temperatures climb back into the upper 70s and even lower 80s Thursday as a warm front lifts in from Kansas.
This afternoon near 3-4pm, a few sprinkles and light rain showers could develop near Grand Island and east. This coverage will become more widespread by the evening hours and into the overnight. There could be a few rumbles of thunder with a few thunderstorms early Tuesday morning.
Rain totals through Tuesday won’t amount to much. Some spots could see up to 0.25″+.
This afternoon, expect mostly sunny skies with highs in the low to upper 60s. A few light rain showers could develop later in the afternoon and evening.
The cold front took away most of our moisture! Dew points feeling quite DRY today in the 30s, meaning some rain will not make it to the ground this afternoon. Tuesday, more moisture will enter the state bringing most of the rain to the soil!

We look to warm back up into the upper 70s and lower 80s Wednesday through Friday due to a warm front from Kansas.
