A noticeable drop in temperatures for your Monday…
Yet another warm day across the state of Nebraska! Today can easily be described as a “transition” day. A cold front pushed through the state Sunday afternoon, allowing temperatures to drop for our neighbors to the northwest. Highs only topped out in the middle 70s to low 80s for some towns in northern Nebraska…and this is a taste of what’s to come for tomorrow!
Conditions will remain mostly dry for the rest of the evening. There is a small chance that we may see a scattered shower late tonight and early tomorrow morning, but the best chance for that appears to be south of Lincoln. I wouldn’t be surprised if Lincoln was bone dry overnight.
Monday will feature temperatures well below average…highs will struggle to make it out of the 70s! The cooler air mass will also be less humid, so the air will all around just feel great!
Enjoy your time outside on Monday because this cooldown is short-lived. We’re back into the upper 80s on Tuesday and into the 90s by Wednesday!
