A server struggling in the pandemic gets a tip that starts a new viral trend

Christman Tipping

HUBER HEIGHTS, Ohio (KLKN) – A bright idea, a struggling server, a social media post, and a bunch of kind hearts came together to start a new trend of Christmas tipping. It was all caught on camera.

Megan Denise Berkshire went to dinner with friends and family and had the idea to open a Venmo account for her server. She posted it to her Facebook account and asked people to donate money to her.

She wrote:

We give the glory to God! ♥️🙌🏼♥️
Ok friends! Christmas spirit here we go! We are going to bless this server today with your love! Here is my Venmo! Whatever is sent to me will be this lady’s tip! Show the love! We don’t know who this is or her story! Let’s love like Jesus. I will video it at the end!!!!!

When the dinner was over, she say the final amount, went to the ATM (rounded up a little bit, to be honest) and got the cash.

We’ll let the video tell the rest of the story.

There are now reports of this Christmas Tipping happening in other places around the country.
