A windy and warm Thursday
Because of the excessive wind later today, High Wind Warnings and Wind Advisories are in effect until 4PM and 6PM today across northern and eastern Nebraska.
Hold on to your hat! Wind gusts may reach 50 mph at times but will consistently be in the 40-45 mph range. These gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages possible.
Temperatures in the 30s this morning and warming up into the lower 50s by this afternoon.
Today, temperatures in the low to mid 50s for all of us. A well above average December day.
After today, the wind calms down and the temperatures cool down quite a bit for Friday. A slow warm up going into Christmas with some rain chances after.
