About 25 vehicles involved in crash in northeast Nebraska

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — A highway in northeast Nebraska was shut down Thursday after a crash involving about two dozen vehicles.

Platte County Emergency Management estimated that 25 vehicles were involved in a pileup on Nebraska Highway 91.

Some people suffered minor injuries, the agency said.

Eight to 10 people have taken shelter in Lindsay for the night.

As of 12:15 a.m. Friday, the highway was still closed from Humphrey to Albion amid the winter storm.

Crews are working to clear snow from the road.
