Accident west of Lincoln sends three to the hospital

The Lancaster County Sheriff’s Office, along with Malcolm Fire & Rescue, responded to an accident around 11:40 p.m. Monday night.

It happened near NW 70th St & Highway 34.

A tow truck driver was hit by a car while loading up a vehicle.

The tow truck driver, the driver of the car that hit him, and one other person were taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

A small portion of Highway 34 was closed down for a few hours as officers worked the scene.

It is now back open.
