Actor Luke Wilson gets birthday surprise at western Nebraska school
LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Actor Luke Wilson got a birthday surprise in a small western Nebraska town on Thursday.
In a Facebook post, McPherson County Schools said 10th graders heard a rumor that Wilson was playing golf in the Sandhills.
To celebrate the actor’s 52nd birthday, students made a sign in hopes that he would see it on his way through Tryon.
On his way to catch a flight, Wilson saw the sign and took a picture to send to his mom, the school said.
He made sure to thank the students before leaving.
Wilson has starred in many films, including “The Royal Tenenbaums,” “Bottle Rocket” and “Old School.”
