ADHD med shortage continues as school starts

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Doctors and parents are worrying as the national shortage of ADHD medicine continues, stretching into the beginning of the school year.

Parents and educators say the drug scarcity could have an impact on learning.

Some parents are even skipping doses or rationing pills for their kids, because pharmacies are out of supplies.

Drugmakers say they’re working to resolve the problem, but it’s likely to linger for the foreseeable future.
