Affidavit: Woman used kiss to give Nebraska inmate drugs, which were found in his feces

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — It happens.
For the second time in the last week, someone has been arrested after Nebraska prison staff found drugs in an inmate’s feces.
Jessica Danielson, 34, was arrested Friday on suspicion of two felonies.
Her arrest affidavit closely mirrors one filed just two days earlier for another woman.
Authorities said both women initially hid drugs in their bra and passed them to an inmate with a kiss.
Each inmate eventually defecated the drugs, according to court records.

Danielson visited an inmate at the Nebraska State Penitentiary on Aug. 24.
After she made it past security, she was seen on surveillance cameras taking something out of her bra and putting it in her mouth, the affidavit says.
Danielson then greeted the inmate and kissed him, according to court records.
During the kiss, she and the inmate were “manipulating their jaws” in a way that suggested they were passing something “mouth-to-mouth,” the affidavit says.
The inmate then took something out of his mouth and put it in his pants, authorities said.

Corrections officers pulled the inmate aside to search him, but court documents said he pushed something into his rectum.
The inmate was taken to a dry cell, which is a room with no plumbing where inmates are held until they empty their bowels — contraband and all.
About an hour and a half later, a corrections officer saw the inmate put something in his mouth, according to the affidavit.
Authorities said they tried to force him to give up the item, but he swallowed it.

The next day, prison staff found a baggie with an unknown substance in the inmate’s feces.
A lab test found that the bag held 3 grams of a synthetic cannabinoid.
Danielson has been charged with distribution of a controlled substance and unlawful acts regarding an inmate.
On Monday, a judge set her bond at $50,000. She must pay $5,000 to be released.
Danielson’s next court date is scheduled for May 1.
